Do you dip your cookie in milk?

A few nights ago, my lemon meringue pie disappeared, and as a result, I had to go in search of another dessert before calling it a night …  See I don’t believe in skipping dessert without a valid reason.  My boyfriend got all excited and said it was time for me to try the proper way of eating chocolate chip cookies. But before I go on, here is some background story. I love cookies and I love chocolate, however I am not a big fan of chocolate chip cookies. I know this makes no sense, I can’t explain it, and my boyfriend almost had a meltdown when I broke that news to him, but that’s just the way it is.  However, being open-minded, I accepted to try his version of chocolate chip cookies. Perhaps he knew something I didn’t. Turns out you gotta dip the cookie in milk and then eat it.  Again ‘cause I am open-minded, I went for it. I am a girl, but I want more than just salad

They say a lot of traits skip one generation, and in many ways I tend to agree. If I could go through life with very minimum clothing without going to jail, I would and my grandmother was the same. My mom, not so much. Also, my grandmother had boxes and boxes of photos. I live in NYC, so boxes is not an option, but I do take pictures 24/7 and yes my Iphone6 has 64GB. Best investment ever. But there is one thing that didn't skip any generation and it is unfortunate for my waist line: love for food, and dessert in particular.  My grandmother is gone, but I can still remember her sneaking out of bed and into the kitchen to have some ice cream in the middle of the night. As for my mother, she never has her afternoon coffee without some sort of sweet. I am no better. I never leave a restaurant without dessert. Doesn't matter how full I am or that half of my plate is full. I am having dessert. Even if I am the only one at the table.  my mom's latest creatio...
