THE NOT SO BLONDE TRAVEL

Joshua Tree has always been on my list and by always, I mean since last August when I moved to Cali and started mapping out mini adventures in my new home state. So I guess always might be an exaggeration, but I get a little anxious and impatient when it comes to traveling and exploring.  So after cancelling Joshua Tree in November because of an ear infection, and December being crazy busy, I was super hopeful for January. But my hopes were shattered, and Joshua Tree started to become more and more like a dream that would never come true.  Perhaps another person would have thought it wasn’t meant to be - but like i said before, when it comes to traveling, I am pretty tenacious. I have already said this before: food + me = true love. I have also said before that I hated NYC because I was an outdoorsy kind of girl. I trekked and camped my way through Peru to get to Machu Picchu, I horseback rode through the mountains in Patagonia, I rode elephants in northern Thailand, I scuba dove in Cozumel ... So how come I fell in love with NYC? The parks ... Playing volley ball at the Chelsea Pier Park, watching an outdoor movie at Bryant Park, enjoying a picnic at Central Park, it's all the stuff that turned me into a happy city girl, it's all the stuff that made all the cement around it worth it. However, getting my boyfriend to do any of it with me was a bit of a challenge. Thankfully Charlotte was there with me. We both sucked at volley ball, but it didn't stop us. So what if we were bad?
