PEOPLE Magazine Vs. REAL BOOKS

Image
I love to read pretty much anything. In Indonesia, I found this amazing book at the hotel's reception: The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joel Dicker. I  had no idea the author was some 29 year old genius and that his writing skills were over the top, but it didn't matter. I just dove in and 670 pages later, I was just sad it was over. I wanted at least another 100 pages. That's how good it was. In case you wanted to buy it, just click  HERE And that's why I always take chances and don't do much research when it comes to reading material. Funny books, serious books, sad books, recipe books ... I am pretty much game for any book. I have even read books about finance and acclaimed criminals - my ex-boyfriend was into them, so of course I had to check them out. My point is I am not difficult when it comes to reading material. I just read. I am not some sort of writer who rides are on a literary high horse and only talks about Hemingway or Proust. M...

White Page Syndrome

I was even in Indonesia for two weeks, just relaxing and trying to not think about anything, in the hopes that a bright idea would dawn on me. It didn't. But what an awesome vacation. Unfortunately I couldn't stay in Paradise forever. I had to come back to reality. That's when the brainstorming began. A fellow blogger came up with TheNotSoBlondeTravel. My best frie...

If I were a cat ...

Image
If I were a cat, this is what I would look like at the moment: Cute, right?  But I am not a cat. So this is closer to my state of mind:  Not So Cute However, according to Facebook, and my latest picture uploads, you would not believe that I am stressed out and on the verge of a writer's meltdown. I just came back from a beautiful vacation in Paradise - seriously.  Check out these pictures of Indonesia if you don't believe me.                                         I even got myself the best selfie ever while in Bali:  And my boyfriend got me this super cute coat last week in London: As for my job, well most of the days, my job is really entertaining because the people I fly with are fun! True I did get peanuts and pretzels thrown to my face a few days ago while the passenger screamed at me that he did not eat poison, but it...
