Rio and the shower man
When I was in Rio at the beginning of the month, I had some expectations. Yummy caipirinhas was one of them, and wow, Rio you over-delivered.
I was also looking forward to discovering the world acclaimed Copa Cabana beach and the world renowned Rio Carnaval.
And wow both were amazing and impressive, but ... Yes there is a but, but it's not a real but. It's just that Ipanema Beach and the blocos impressed me even more.

Of course the blocos are much less organized and much less grandiose than the Carnaval, but check out these pictures and I think you will get what I am talking about. Brazilians are amazingly creative, very sociable and full of surprises.
My personal favorite -:)
Who wore it better? -:p
No age limit for the blocos
And as much as I loved Copa Cabana, I just loved Ipanema beach a bit more.
I could do everything I love in just one spot. Eat, drink and shop, all from under the comfort of my umbrella - and yes I bought two swimsuits the same day - don't judge.
One of the many swimsuits I purchased on the beach
Yummy Grilled Cheese
Yummy Drinks
Shopping Time - and yes you can use your credit card
Fresh Waternelon
Sunrise
Sunset
Pretty awesome, wouldn't you say?
A special thank you to Isa for welcoming us into her Brazilian home - from which we could say good morning and goodnight to Cristo every day 😊
Brazil I will be back,
EAT WELL, TRAVEL OFTEN, TAKE PICTURES
