Red Lipstick and Bold Beautiful Accessories

Us New Yorkers love black. We live black, we breath black: black is our color. But we also love red lipstick, and bold bright accessories are our bff's. What better than a statement necklace or a funky clutch to brighten an all black outfit?

So for those of you that are in "need" of bright and beautiful accessories, there are three designers that you have to check out: AMULETTE Creation by Samia Mbarek, TAMARZIZT by Oumaima Tamarzizt and DS by Dorra Sassi. All three are from my native country, so perhaps I am biased, but I don't think so. I truly believe their work is beautiful and that all of us should be all over them before they are huge super stars and we can't afford buying anything from their beautiful collections.

I could go on and on about how original their creations are, but pictures are sometimes worth a thousands words. And honestly, I wouldn't even know how to describe their work. I am not a professional jeweler, I am just a professional shopper. So ... Voila ...

Lastly, a little note for my male readers, if your girlfriend doesn't seem too happy with her present on Vday or perhaps you are one of those guys who didn't realize the consequences of not buying your significant other a present for Valentine's, maybe you should stop buy on Sunday and pick out something really pretty to get back in her good graces. Just some friendly advice :-)

Imagine dating your computer

Saturday night I went to the theater and saw the movie " HER " by director Spike Jonze and I have to say, even though I liked the movie, it could have been better if someone had introduced us before hand. I could have made it better because we could have used stuff from my book . This is the part where you think I am super full of himself for saying that a Hollywood director should collaborate with me. Rude or not?

A few weeks ago, a flight attendant working with me on a flight to India approached me and asked if she could ask me a personal question. "Sure," I replied. "Don't get me wrong, you are beautiful," she said. I remember thinking "wow it is starting really good - what will follow is going to be really bad." But it wasn't. She noticed I had acne and knew of a treatment to fix it. I laughed and told her to relax. Why would I be offended? I was thankful, and if you ever had acne, you can relate because you probably tried a million of creams and lotions, which all failed, so even a glimpse of  hope meant something.
