Don't Get Attached
When guys asked me out on dates, I never really cared about where they took me out to dinner. It was more about the conversation, the chemistry, that kind of stuff.
But after hearing some horror stories, I must say I was pretty lucky in my dating choices because every guy that ever took me out picked a nice restaurant. And by nice restaurant, I don't necessarily mean some fancy 5 course dinner. One of my best first date was at an underground tapas place. The guy ordered pretty much everything on the menu and since the way to my heart is definitely food, I truly thought he was the one. He wasn't, which apparently is no surprise according to food psychology 101.
Apparently people who like tapas are the kind of people who avoid commitment. See they can't even commit to an entree, let alone a relationship. They don't want to make decisions so tapas is their answer: a little bit of everything.
Do you think all these food rules are a bunch of nonsense? Or is there some truth in some of it?

On the contrary, people whose favorite food is French food tend to be romantic to a fault. They are loyal, cling to tradition and respect authority. So I guess they are more "relationship material" than tapas people.
Interesting right? Does it mean I should avoid guys who like tapas?
I guess it does, but that would make me a hypocrite because my favorite food is tapas too. However, in my opinion, just because I want to have both fish and meat, and a million other things, the same night, doesn't mean I have commitment issues.
