Why haven't you stopped talking?

.I love to talk. And I can talk a lot

I don't think it is a bad thing, even though I know some of my friends might disagree. The same friends who complain that I talk too much beg me to come to brunch 'cause it's not as much fun when I am not there.

:So yes I talk a lot, but I think I know when I have to really shut up. When the person next to me
is reading or writing or even coloring a book
 is sleeping
 has headphones on or earplugs

I know you are thinking this is totally logical and doesn't deserve a post, but it does because yesterday, as I was typing on my Ipad in the park, minding my own business, this person next to me would not stop with questions: What are you doing? (Seriously?) What kind of writing? What's your favorite book? Do you think you will ever finish this book?

Well not if you do not stop with all your questions M'am.

She did. But not for long. The minute I would get back to my initial concentration, she would ask another question. Is it easy to get published? Why are you in England? What does your boyfriend do?

NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! was what I wanted to say. But I didn't want to be rude. However, I did want to teach her a lesson about asking too many questions so when she asked to see a picture
the boyfriend, I said YES and I showed her this picture of a very unattractive guy that I had saved on my Ipad for some blog post. It was priceless.

She tried to mumble something in the realm of "he is cute" and she walked away. Mission accomplished -:)

What have you done to get rid of someone who was asking too many questions aside from putting headphones in? It obviously doesn't work.

Let me know in the comment box below ... And if you are curious to know if you talk too much, or just want a good laugh, check out this WIKIHOW article. The article is not half bad, but the pictures they pick are just terrible. So terrible that it's funny.
