How far would you go for your phone?

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I went to Kauai. I am not sure why we came back from this island. It was so beautiful, but that's another story.

While hiking to the Secret Falls and enjoying on one of the best vacations of my life, my phone was dropped in a very muddy trail. I won't name names - 'cause I am a not like that - but it wasn't me who dropped it.

At first, I thought he was joking about not finding it, but as soon as I realized he wasn't, I turned into WonderWoman, almost started swimming in the mud, braving the rocks and wood debris barefoot, desperate to find my phone and salvage whatever I could, most importantly my pictures/postcards. Wouldn't you have swam in mud to save these pictures?

Of course, my boyfriend helped me look, but he wasn't running in the mud like I was. Thankfully my efforts were not in vain and the phone cover saved the phone's functions.

Now if my phone had fallen off a cliff, I wouldn't have jumped, obviously. And I like to think that if my phone ever fell in a drain, I wouldn't jump either.

However I am sure if you ask my boyfriend's opinion, it is different than mine.

This British girl did. She jumped in the drain after her phone slipped, got stuck in the drain and had to be rescued by firefighters while of course all the people walking by took pictures of her. For the

I have to admit I was a bit worried about moving to London and being bored, but after reading this article, I know exactly what I will be doing in my spare time: selling my book LIFE WITHOUT IT.
It appears to be much needed.

Would you go down a drain to get your phone back? Or put your hand down the toilet?
