Why are Girls CRAZIES?

First of all, little disclaimer: this is not about any of my girlfriends in particular. It is just a general statement, so girls, please no angry text after reading this post. 

But how come girlfriends are so hard to keep? 

Making them is no issue. Keeping them seems harder than keeping a boyfriend, and we all know how hard that can be.

But it is hard for a simple reason: guys are simple. Either they don't like you and don't want to be with you, or they just don't want anything serious. There is not much more to it. But with girlfriends, what is the issue? 

Deep inside, every girl wants girlfriends. 

We like to go to yoga, but we like yoga even better when BFF Rachel is with us. We like to splurge on expensive boots on a random Tuesday night, but it is even more fun if BFF Lauren is with us while we are maxing out our last credit card. We like to go to the spa to relax, but we adore going to the spa to chit chat with our BFF Helen. My point is: us girls don't like to be alone for anything.

The body I wish I had, and the body my real BFF probably wishes she had too :)

So why do we make it so complicated? Why do we constantly over analyze our girlfriends words and actions? Why are so many girlfriends so mean to each other? Why the endless fights? Why so many fall outs?

I don't know ... But I know that every time I rant to my boyfriend about a girlfriend and I getting into
an argument, he looks at me with the same look of disbelief, which if I translate into words, here is how it would go "Babe, I know you are smart and sweet, but you sound crazy right now." 

Anyone wants to enlighten me on why girl friendships are so complicated? We want them so badly,  but it seems we spend loads of energy ruining them, don't we?

Ps: if you are currently in a fight with your BFF, apparently WIKIHOW has a 6 step formula on how to Get-Out-of-a-Fight-with-Your-Best-Friend ... But my opinion is that baking cookies as a peace
offering if you ruined her new Prada shoes that she told you not to borrow or tried to sleep with her fiancé is probably not going to cut it. Yes girlfriends will do that to you. The same sweet girlfriends who drew hearts on your high school diary.
