Speed Dating Anyone?
A few weeks ago, I dropped my name in a raffle and won a Speak Easy event hosted by French Morning , a french online magazine based in the US. It sounded pretty much like speed dating to me and since I have always "found" boyfriends without a third party, I wasn't exactly thrilled to be set up. I like spontaneity. However the French Morning event coordinator Marion explained to me the event was really about practicing either your French or English, not meeting your soulmate. I will be honest. I didn't really believe her and since I am fluent in both, I didn't see any reason to participate. But then I won the raffle, and well it was free and I got curious. So I went. And I am glad I did. No I didn't meet my future husband, or maybe I did, and I don't know it yet ...
